as for the speed, i am trying to draw as much as possible these days, because the hotel will open on the 2nd of March (it was closed for the winter) and i will not have as much spare time as i do now...thank God this Sunday there were no managers in and i drew around 6 hours non stop <3 yeeey!
really glad you like it, i enjoyed a lot doing this one - is quite interesting to try to render oil color in pencil...i know it sounds strange, but painters like Delacroix are so much about color, and less shape...
The difference between tone and tint as they use to say to us in art school. Tone: the colours of shading and tint : the varying shades of colour in the subject. Separating them out and rendering them in gray scale tones is difficult . But you have mastered it quite well.
I was trying, and i love this textural way of drawing...to be honest to see a painting like this in black and white,or turned into a drawing,it changes completely...the only paintings that don't go with the gray scale tones are the Impressionist ones
